Carrier 3 rotates about fixed axis A and is connected by turning pair B to planet friction wheel 2 which contacts and rolls around the external cylindrical surface of fixed sun friction wheel 1. The speeds n₂ and n₃ (in rpm) without slippage of wheel 2 and carrier 3 are related by the condition n₂=n₃*((R₁+R₂)/R₂) where R₁ and R₂ are the radii of wheels 1 and 2.
