    • Private Harry Harris was with the 7th Battalion, the Norfolk Regiment, because the Oxford and Bucks (Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry) had been full when he enlisted. Harry died on the Somme on the 18th September 1918. Albert Harris, Harry's brother and the contributors father, joined the Oxford and Bucks. Albert also fought on the Somme, but wasn't aware that his brother had been killed until he returned home in 1919/1920.
