Description

    • One notebook, photographs and related material, including letter regarding the grave of Pte Kane.
    • Pte. Patrick Kane was killed in a "friendly fire" incident two days before the end of the First World War. The notebook was in his top pocket when it was pierced by a bullet killing him and a colleague instantly. O his gravestone, his age is given as 25 years old. He was in fact 21 when he died.
