Countryside near Grez-sur-Loing

After studying in Germany, Carl Trägårdh went to France in 1885. He went to the artist colony in Grez-sur-Loing for several extended periods, and was considered to be one of the Swedes of his generation who was the most closely related to the French Impressionists.
